Artist Bio

Driven by curiosity about how to work in partnership with nature, I invite water bodies into co-creativity as living beings. In being open to discover art with water, as an equal, I'm nourished by encounters with diverse forms of beauty, as my imagination detects emergent worlds where human & more-than-human possibilities collide.

Integrating, art, science, & mindfulness, I contemplatively study the macro-crystallography of frozen samples of different bodies of water (lakes, seas, rivers) with photography, & color pencil drawings on paper. This approach embraces new perspectives & reciprocates dynamic contributions from non-lingual life forces.

Welcome to a place where rivers have stories too. Here I share some of them.

I partner with Teemill to offer water art I co-created with diverse bodies of water on fun products, like: Water Birds of Victoria Park Puzzle, West Lake Mug, River Danube Tote Bag, & Turtle & Blue Hummingbird Tea Towel. Teemill use natural materials that are non-toxic and cruelty free, like 100% organic cotton and water based inks, operate zero-plastic, and run on renewable energy. They offer free returns on products at end-of-use for recycling.

Kind and generous partnerships support curious and collaborative co-creation of art with diverse bodies of water, creative health workshops to nourish community connection with nature (and themselves), and discovery of more-than-human art through exhibits, residencies, education, and installations.
